Called Damon on Sunday as we were on vacation and came home to a green pool and due to close on our house 2 days later. Stressed the importance of this as buyers would not close. He asked me to text pics which I did. No response. The next morning I texted for a follow-up. Still after 24 hours NO RESPONSE. A simple not interested or cant do this whatever would suffice. No response at all is bad service!

I received a text the next morning at 8:15 and was unable to respond. A initial review, that you've taken down, was posted at 10 am. You declared I was ghosting you and other derogatory remarks. And now you've posted this new and revised review. I operate on fair basis, this is anything but that.

Since I started using Damon’s Pool, I honestly don’t stress about my pool anymore. My pool is older, so things break from time to time, but they always take care of everything at a reasonable price. Damon took the time to help me with the algae problem I've had for 3 years. He walked me through everything over the phone, and when I was unable to fix it, he came out to help me. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very patient in explaining things to me. He took my pool from green to crystal clear and let me know how to keep it that way. Watch out for this guy. I paid him over $800 less than a month ago to replace my pool motor. It's back to making noise and leaking water. HE WON'T EVEN RETURN MY CALLS OR TEXTS.

Response from the owner:I replaced the motor only, it worked perfectly, no leaks. I have video of this. You let your pump run dry and blew the pump seal and continued to run it with the blown pump seal which allows water to get to the motor, and now you've ruined the new motor. That's why you're back in the same situation. I'm not going to account for your negligence. I tried to help.

I can’t tell you how grateful I am that Damon answered his phone when I called. I called and tried getting in contact with atleast 10 pool companies. It is so hard to get a hold of a pool guy during peak season and if you are a new pool owner like me trying to get your pool situated for the summer is a process that I don’t know yet. Damon answered and was super helpful. He told me to stop wasting my money and very specifically told me all the things I needed in what order to do them and I can tell you with certainty he knows what he is doing. He hasn’t even come to my home to look at the pool, he just guided me through it and my pool is a million times better from where it started. I am a guy who wants to learn and do it on my own but pools are complicated and we all have different kinds of pools so sometimes it can be hard to find steps tailored to your pool but he was able to do that. I know this is lengthy but if you are me about a week ago looking a pool guy who will answer your calls/texts or call/text you back. This is the review you needed to see. Just don’t all hog him at once because I still need him to answer some more questions for me.
